Guide emblem: Non-casino hotels in Biloxi and along the coast: the quiet bases for a golf trip

The best non casino hotels in Biloxi for golfers are the White House Hotel and Hotel Legends on the beach road, the two Hampton Inns at the I-10 exits, and, a short drive away, Gulf Hills and The Roost in Ocean Springs, the Ramada in Diamondhead and the Pearl in Bay St. Louis. Rates were read on October 25, 2026 for Tuesday, November 10 and Saturday, November 21, and are typical prices, not quotes.

In Biloxi: the beach road

The White House Hotel is a restored 1890s beachfront hotel with a front lawn, a veranda and free parking. It reopened in 2014, and a second wing of 49 rooms opened in October 2025. Cora's restaurant and bar has 40 wines and 16 draft beers, and there is a rooftop bar. The pool faces the beach but is open only March to October, and there is no breakfast. It sits on busy Highway 90, and weddings use the lawn. Sunkist is about 16 minutes away.

Hotel Legends is all suites, across Beach Boulevard from Hard Rock, so the casinos are a walk away without staying in one. Every suite has a mini-fridge and wet bar. The two-bedroom King-Double Queen suite has two baths and a living area and sleeps six. Cancellation is free until 24 hours before arrival. Saturdays cost more than double a weekday, and the Supper Club has live entertainment Thursday to Saturday, so it is not the quietest choice.

At the interstate: the Hamptons

Hampton Inn & Suites D'Iberville sits at the Promenade shopping center at I-10 and I-110, with free hot breakfast, free parking and fridges and microwaves in every room. Studio suites with a sofa bed sleep four. There is no bar and no beach, but it is quick to both ends of the coast: 15 minutes to Sunkist and 23 to The Preserve.

Hampton Inn Biloxi/Ocean Springs at I-10 exit 50 is the handiest base for the east-side courses: 17 minutes to The Preserve and 21 to Shell Landing. It has free breakfast and connecting rooms. The two-bed rooms have doubles, not queens, and it sits beside I-10.

In Ocean Springs: the quiet bayou and the walkable town

Gulf Hills Hotel + Resort is a 1927 golf resort on the bayou, restored with interiors finished in early 2024. Reviews describe a quiet setting after 9 PM. Rooms range from 2-queen rooms (sleep four) to the Love Me Tender Suite (sleeps eight, $333 on the Tuesday). The MIDWEEK15 code took 15% off Sunday-Thursday stays through December 31, 2026. Its 18-hole course closed in 2019, and the status of the nine-hole course there is unclear.

The Roost is a 19-suite boutique hotel in downtown Ocean Springs, with kitchenettes in most suites, a heated plunge pool open all year and the Maringouin cocktail bar. Restaurants are two to five minutes' walk away. Most suites are kings limited to two guests, so it suits couples more than a foursome. Our Ocean Springs golf guide covers the area.

In Gulfport: beach or airport

The Courtyard Gulfport Beachfront is across Highway 90 from the sand, with a saltwater pool, a bar, guest laundry and $5 parking. Breakfast costs extra, Gulf-side rooms get road noise and reviews are middling. It is 11 minutes from Bayou Vista.

The Hilton Garden Inn Gulfport Airport is three minutes from Bayou Vista and 22 from Windance, with a restaurant and bar, free parking and a free airport shuttle. As a business hotel, it was cheaper on the Saturday than the Tuesday.

On the west end: Diamondhead and Bay St. Louis

The Ramada Diamondhead reopened after renovation in August 2023. It is six minutes from Diamondhead, with free breakfast, an indoor pool and hot tub, guest laundry and free parking for trailers and RVs. Reviews are mixed, and the cheapest rooms open onto exterior corridors.

The Pearl Hotel is a 59-room boutique hotel on the corner of Main Street and Beach Boulevard in Old Town Bay St. Louis, ten minutes from The Bridges. The Thorny Oyster and the Hinge lounge are downstairs, and Old Town's restaurants are a short walk. Parking is street or a paid lot (about $20 a night per a guest review; confirm).

Who each suits

  • Couples: The Roost, the Pearl or the White House.
  • Value foursomes: Hotel Legends' two-bedroom suite, or the Hampton D'Iberville with free breakfast.
  • Early tee times on the east side: Hampton Inn Biloxi/Ocean Springs.
  • Groups with a trailer: the Ramada Diamondhead.
  • Fly-ins: the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport.
