Temecula resort fees are a case where the honest answer is often "not published here". Only one stay in our data has dollar figures, and those conflict: South Coast Winery Resort & Spa shows $38.08 per room per night on one booking listing and $19 in an older review. Pechanga showed no resort fee at all.

This guide lists what is known stay by stay, what is unknown, and how to budget for the gaps. Everything was checked in November 2026, and fees change.

Quick facts

  • Disputed: South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, $38.08 or $19 per room per night.
  • Free parking and no fee found: Pechanga Resort Casino (confirm at booking).
  • Fee exists, amount unknown: Temecula Creek Inn and Pala Mesa Resort.
  • Parking included in the fee: Pala Mesa Resort.
  • Not captured: Ponte Vineyard Inn, the Europa Village inn, Pala Casino, Soboba and the chain hotels.
  • Rule of thumb: ask for the total with fees and taxes for your dates.

The stays with no number are the ones to ask about before you book.

How much does the South Coast resort fee add up to?

Use the two figures to bracket your cost. The booking listing amount is $38.08 per room per night and the Fodor's review amount is $19.

Nights At $19 At $38.08
2$38.00$76.16
3$57.00$114.24
4$76.00$152.32

These are before tax and assume one room. For a group of four golfers in two rooms, double them. The gap between the two sources is $19.08 a night, which is enough to matter on a longer stay, so confirm directly. Ask what the fee covers, because the file does not say.

Pechanga: free self-parking, valet charged

Pechanga is the clearest case. Self-parking in the North and East garages is free for guests around the clock. Valet is $10 a day Monday to Thursday and $20 a day Friday to Sunday and holidays, free for Platinum, Red and Jade card holders. EV charging is $0.35 per kWh.

We found no resort fee on the parking page or in search results, which is rare for a resort of this size. It was not confirmed on a booking page, so ask before you pay. The hotel's guest rate at Journey is $175 against $215 for the public, so it can be worth more than any fee. Our Pechanga resort golf guide works through the numbers.

Pala Mesa and Temecula Creek Inn

Pala Mesa Resort says a resort fee applies and that parking is included in it, but the amount is not listed. The 128-room resort sits next to the Pala Mesa course. Our Pala Mesa course guide covers the golf side.

Temecula Creek Inn has 27 holes on site. A booking listing says a daily resort fee is payable at check-in, but we could not read the amount because the official page was blocked. Stay-and-play guest rates are the usual draw but were not confirmed. See the Temecula Creek Inn course guide and the Temecula golf resorts guide.

What about the chain hotels?

The Old Town and I-15 chain hotels have rates, parking and fees listed as "not captured": Embassy Suites by Hilton Temecula Valley Wine Country, Hampton Inn & Suites Temecula, Fairfield Inn & Suites Temecula, and the Murrieta, Menifee and Lake Elsinore hotels. Check the booking page for each. Confirm breakfast and parking at booking, as the hotel records advise.

How do you budget for fees you cannot see?

Use a simple method:

  1. Ask each hotel for the all-in nightly total, with taxes, fees and parking, for your exact dates.
  2. Add the golf price difference. At Pechanga, the Journey hotel-guest rate saves $40 per player per round.
  3. Add the drive. A cheaper hotel 20 minutes from the course costs time and fuel every morning.
  4. Compare the totals, not the headline rates.

For a group of four playing Journey twice, the hotel-guest rate alone is worth $320 against the public rate, before any resort fee. Rates move with weekends, festivals and casino events, with Friday and Saturday nights from April to October usually the most expensive, so a Sunday to Thursday stay is the safest value play.

What do Temecula resort fees cost a group of four?

Take a group of four golfers sharing two rooms for three nights at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. At the higher listed figure the fees are two rooms times three nights times $38.08, which is $228.48. At the lower figure they are two rooms times three nights times $19, which is $114. The gap is $114.48 on one trip, before tax, from a single disputed number.

Compare that with the golf. A foursome that plays Journey at Pechanga twice as Pechanga hotel guests saves $320 against the public rate. Temecula resort fees can erase part of a saving like that, which is why the all-in total matters more than the headline rate.

Here is a short list of questions to ask each stay about Temecula resort fees:

  • What is the daily fee per room, and is it per night or per stay?
  • What does it cover, including parking, the pool, the gym and Wi-Fi?
  • Is parking charged on top, and is there a valet-only option?
  • Does the fee apply to every room in a group booking?
  • Does the stay-and-play rate include the fee?

Write the answers down and compare totals for the same dates. For a group that is price-sensitive, the chain hotels in Old Town, Murrieta and Menifee may come out ahead even before fees, though we did not capture their rates either. See cheap hotels in Temecula for golf for the list.

How much is the resort fee at South Coast Winery Resort?

Sources conflict. One booking listing shows $38.08 per room per night, and an older Fodor's review lists $19. Over three nights that is $114.24 or $57 before tax. Confirm the figure with the hotel before you book.

Is parking free at Pechanga Resort Casino?

Self-parking in the North and East garages is free for guests, 24 hours a day. Valet is $10 a day Monday to Thursday and $20 a day Friday to Sunday and holidays, and free for Platinum, Red and Jade card holders. EV charging is $0.35 per kWh.

Does the Pala Mesa Resort fee include parking?

Yes. The accommodations page says a resort fee applies and that parking is included in it; the page also mentions free parking. The amount of the fee is not listed, so ask when you book.

Is there a resort fee at Temecula Creek Inn?

A booking listing says a daily resort fee is payable at check-in, but the amount was not found because the official page was blocked. Ask for the fee and the stay-and-play rate before you book.

Do chain hotels in Temecula charge parking or resort fees?

We did not capture fees for the Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, Courtyard, Embassy Suites or the Lake Elsinore and Menifee hotels. Check each booking page; fees and parking can change the total.

How do I find out the real nightly cost of a Temecula hotel?

Ask for the total with taxes and fees for your dates, not the headline rate. Compare that total across stays, then add parking and any breakfast. Rates move with weekends, festivals and casino events.
