Celebration Golf Club is a public daily-fee course in the Disney-built town of Celebration, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr. and opened in 1996, their last joint design. Rates are dynamic online and were not published on the club's home page in November 2026. The course is about 10-15 minutes from Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom by the course's estimate.
The research calls it a tidy, solid mid-priced choice for family trips based in Kissimmee. This guide covers what the files say about the layout, how to find a rate, the drive to the parks, and where to stay and eat. Where a fact is not published, we say so.

Celebration Golf Club rates
The honest answer is that our files hold no published green fee for Celebration Golf Club. Pricing is dynamic on the club's online booking, which usually means the price moves with the season, the day and the time. The local Florida Elite Card program gives card holders a member login, but its price and discounts were not read.
To put a likely price in context, here is what neighbouring public courses showed or published:
| Course | Price in our files | Date seen | Drive from downtown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Celebration Golf Club | dynamic, not published | Nov 2026 | 31 min |
| Providence | $99 before 2 pm, $59 after | Nov-Dec 2026 rate sheet | 47 min |
| Royal St. Cloud | $69-72 before 1:30 pm, cart included | Nov-Dec 2026 rate sheet | 44 min |
| ChampionsGate Country Club | from $49 | GolfNow, Nov 5, 2026 | 40 min |
| Disney's Lake Buena Vista | no dollar rate; about 20% off peak in fall | golfwdw.com, Nov 2026 | 26 min |
The research places Celebration in the mid-priced band. Book the earliest or latest times for value: Orlando mornings in January to April go first, and summer afternoons bring storms. For a city-wide view, see Orlando golf rates and cheap golf in Orlando.
The layout
Celebration Golf Club runs through lakes, oaks and wetlands on the edge of the town, the last course the two Trent Joneses designed together. Par, yardages, ratings and slopes are not in our files; the research did not find a scorecard, and no overseed dates were published either. If you are choosing tees for a mixed-ability family, ask the shop for the card when you book. Our Celebration course guide shows the course on the map.
Distance to Disney and the parks
| From Celebration | Time | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom | about 10-15 min | course estimate |
| Disney's south side (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom via World Dr) | roughly 10-20 min | course estimate, not routed |
| Disney Springs (from Celebration town centre) | 16 min, 7.8 mi | free-flow route, Nov 2026 |
| Celebration town centre | about 5 min | course estimate |
| Downtown Orlando | 31 min, 21.5 mi | free-flow route |
| Orlando International (MCO) | not measured |
That makes it one of the easiest courses for a family based on Disney's south side or in a Kissimmee vacation home. A dawn tee time leaves most of the day for a park, or one golfer can play while the family has a slow morning. I-4 and US-192 traffic often adds 15-45 minutes at park opening and closing. A park-day plan around Celebration Golf Club
Celebration works best as the golf half of a family day on Disney's south side. A simple shape:
- Early morning: the first tee time at Celebration Golf Club, booked online ahead. Mornings are cooler in every season and, from June to September, beat the afternoon storms.
- Late morning: back to the hotel or vacation home to collect the family; Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom is about 10-15 minutes away by the course's estimate.
- Evening: dinner on Front Street in Celebration village, or Disney Springs, about 16 minutes from the town centre.
On a rest day between parks, the whole family can walk Celebration's lakefront while one golfer plays. For a week, pair Celebration with Mystic Dunes and Falcon's Fire, which are also on Disney's south side, and keep one round for Disney's own courses. Snowbirds based in Kissimmee can add it to a weekly rotation; ask the club about the Florida Elite Card, whose terms were not read for our files. Our Orlando golf family vacation guide has a full week.

When to play Celebration Golf Club
November and early December are the sweet spot: NOAA normals at MCO give about 78F highs in November, and they are the driest months. Thanksgiving week and Christmas-New Year are the busiest park weeks, so tee sheets near Disney fill on holiday mornings. January to April is peak, with spring breaks and Canadian March break in March. June to September is cheapest, but storms come on 14-17 afternoons a month, so take the first tee times. Summer families on the Gulf coast face the same trade-off; see Destin family golf trip.
