Slope ladder: Cheap hotels near Orlando golf courses: value bases from Lake Buena Vista to Sanford

The best cheap hotels near Orlando golf courses are the chain hotels in Kissimmee, Davenport, Clermont and Lake Buena Vista, most of which were not on the November 2026 resort fee list. Pair each with the cheapest public course nearby: Deer Creek and Polo Park East from about $15, Grande Vista from about $31, Green Valley at $29 after 3 pm.

This guide picks value hotels by area, with the closest public courses and the cheapest round we saw near each. Our research did not read nightly hotel rates, so none are quoted: compare totals with tax and parking for your dates. Resort fees come from a third-party list from November 2026, and golf prices are snapshots from that week. Both change.

Lake Buena Vista: cheap beds near Disney golf

This is the value base for golf plus Disney. The Hilton Garden Inn is 8 minutes from Grande Vista, a short course at Marriott's timeshare resort with GolfNow times from $30.99; see the Grande Vista course guide. The Fairfield in Marriott Village suits budget groups on Marriott points and is 7 minutes from Hawk's Landing.

Also in the area:

Disney's own courses have twilight at about 45% off the morning rate from 1:00 pm until Jan 7, 2027.

US 192 and Kissimmee: the classic budget strip

The Hampton Inn & Suites South Lake Buena Vista is 8 minutes from Falcon's Fire and Hawk's Landing and 11 from Celebration. The Clarion is the tightest-budget option on our map; check recent reviews and ask about any service fee. Neither Falcon's Fire nor Celebration published rates we could read; both price dynamically online. See Kissimmee golf courses.

International Drive: near Universal

The Holiday Inn Express International Drive is 13 minutes from Shingle Creek and Grande Vista and 14 from MetroWest, the closest public course to Universal on the west side. Avoid PGA Show week (Jan 26-29, 2027), when I-Drive hotels fill.

Davenport and ChampionsGate: cheapest golf on the board

The two Davenport chain hotels sit 6 minutes from Deer Creek RV Golf & Country Club, from $14.99, and 6 to 7 minutes from ChampionsGate Country Club, from $49 on GolfNow, far cheaper than the Omni courses next door. Providence charged $59 after 2 pm in November and December 2026, and Polo Park East was from $15. For a group, a Davenport vacation home can beat several hotel rooms; see Orlando buddies golf trip.

Clermont and Flamingo Crossings: the west side

The Hampton Inn & Suites Clermont and Fairfield Inn & Suites Clermont are 4 to 5 minutes from Clermont National (from $69.99 on GolfNow) and 13 from Green Valley, which charges $29 after 3 pm daily and all day on Tuesdays. See the Green Valley course guide.

The SpringHill Suites at Flamingo Crossings, by Disney's western entrance, is 12 minutes from Orange County National and 14 from Polo Park East.

The airport and Lake Nona

The Hampton Inn Orlando International Airport is 11 minutes from Ventura, from $31.99 on GolfNow for November 5 and $27.99 for October 22, 2026; the Ventura course guide has more. The Courtyard Lake Nona is 10 minutes from Eagle Creek, from $40. Both suit a first or last night.

Sanford and Lake Mary

The Holiday Inn Express Sanford-Lake Mary is 9 minutes from Mayfair, whose twilight from 2 pm was $32.95 Monday to Thursday from November 15, 2026, and 19 from RedTail, from $17.99. The Courtyard Lake Mary/North is the other option, 10 minutes from Mayfair.

What we could not confirm

Prices for cheap hotels near Orlando golf courses change often, so treat this list as a starting point. Our research did not read a single nightly rate for these hotels, so we cannot say which is cheapest on your dates; the pattern is that Orlando room prices follow the theme-park calendar and conventions more than golf. "Not on the resort fee list" is a good sign but not a guarantee, and parking charges at most chain hotels were not read. On the golf side, GolfNow "from" prices are single-day snapshots for the cheapest tee time listed that day, and Falcon's Fire, Celebration and Highlands Reserve publish no rate card we could read.

How to keep a cheap Orlando golf trip cheap

  • Avoid the expensive weeks. Christmas-New Year, Thanksgiving, Presidents' Day week, spring breaks and Easter (Mar 28, 2027).
  • Pick the cheap ones. Late August to September, early December and most of January outside holiday weekends.
  • Count fees and tax. Resort fees, parking and the county tourist development tax all go on top; see Orlando resort fees.
  • Play twilight. Afternoon rates are the easiest saving; our cheap golf in Orlando guide lists them.
  • Book by area. Keep the hotel within 15 minutes of most rounds; I-4 traffic eats savings. See where to stay in Orlando for golf.

Other towns compare too: our cheap hotels in Myrtle Beach for golf guide covers the classic budget destination.
