Open the 3D map of every course →
This Laughlin golf trip itinerary plays four courses in four days from a Casino Drive base: Laughlin Ranch, Mojave Resort, Huukan and Rivers Edge. All four are within about 40 minutes of the strip. They give you a hilly test, a flat windy links-style course, a gentle tree-lined round and a riverside municipal finish.
Laughlin works well for a four-day trip because the courses sit on both sides of the river within a short drive, and the casino hotels are cheap midweek. The catch is that two clocks run here, and only one of the four courses publishes a full rate card. This plan deals with both. Rates were seen in October 2026 and will change.

Drive times are free-flow estimates from our research. Laughlin Ranch's rate table is labelled 2027 on its rates page; it charges more on Friday to Sunday than Monday to Thursday.
Day 1: Laughlin Ranch, the big test
Start with the best course on this stretch of river, while legs are fresh. Laughlin Ranch is a hilly David Druzisky design in the foothills east of Bullhead City, with arroyos, forced carries over desert washes and river views. From the Gold tees it plays 7,155 yards at a 143 slope, and from Zinc 6,565 yards at 137, which is where most groups belong.
It is also the priciest round on the trip. On the table seen in October 2026, non-residents paid $147 Friday to Sunday or $137 Monday to Thursday from November 20 to January 31, and $169 or $159 from February 22 to April 11. A cart is mandatory and included; outside food and drink are not allowed. Book it for a weekday if you can. The Laughlin Ranch course guide has all seven rate bands.
Laughlin Ranch is on Arizona time. In winter, a 9:00 AM tee time is 8:00 AM on your Laughlin hotel clock. After the round, the SLATE restaurant in the clubhouse is the place for lunch.
Day 2: Mojave Resort and the Avi
Head south to Mojave Resort Golf Club, a flat Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley layout on the river floodplain beside the Avi Resort & Casino. Wide fairways and wind-shaped dunes make wind the main defence. It is 6,939 yards and a 136 slope from the Black tees, and the White tees play 5,959 yards. The par-3 17th carries a $100,000 hole-in-one prize offer.
Mojave Resort publishes no 2026-27 rate card; the club and the Avi say to call 702-535-4653. A cart is included in the green fee, per GolfNow, and there is a driving range if you want to warm up. This course runs on Pacific time, the same clock as the casinos. The Mojave Resort course guide covers the layout.
Afterward, the Avi Resort & Casino next door has a private beach, a movie theater and six places to eat.
Day 3: Huukan in Fort Mohave
Huukan Golf Club is the former Desert Lakes, now run by the same operator as Mojave Resort and booked on the same kind of EZLinks sheet. It is a flat valley parkland course from 1989 with tree-lined fairways and water on several holes. From the Black tees it is 6,444 yards with a 115 slope, the gentlest round of the four, which suits the middle of a trip.
No 2026 rates were published, so call when you book. Huukan is on Arizona time, an hour ahead of Laughlin in winter. Its clubhouse has dining with indoor and outdoor seating.
Alternatives for day three, both on Arizona time:
- Los Lagos, a longer Ted Robinson desert course (6,921 yards, 126 slope), about 39 minutes from the strip. Ask whether both nines are open and which clubhouse services are running after the 2025 storm and 2026 fire repairs.
- El Rio, a long Matt Dye course (7,143 yards from the Gold tees), about 28 minutes away. It was $45 with cart on GolfNow in August 2026, but confirm it is taking winter bookings.
Day 4: Rivers Edge in Needles
Finish on the California side at Rivers Edge, the City of Needles' municipal course on the Colorado River. It is flat, easy to walk and has long par 3s, playing 6,500 yards at a 117 slope from the Black tees. The Colorado Room restaurant has river views. Daily green fees were not published, so phone 760-326-3931.
Rivers Edge runs on Pacific time, so there is no clock adjustment on the last day. It is about 40 minutes from the strip, which still leaves time for the drive home after lunch.
Swap option: for a bigger last day, drive 94 minutes to Lake Havasu City and play Lake Havasu Golf Club's Desert West course: $94 public before noon or $50 after 3 PM on the 2026/2027 table. Check it is open first, because in late October 2026 it was closed for overseed. The Lake Havasu golf trip itinerary covers that end of the river.
Where to stay for this itinerary
Stay on Casino Drive, where every course in the plan is within about 40 minutes. Laughlin Ranch runs a Stay & Play program with several casinos, and Mojave Resort names its own hotel partners. Four hotels appear on both lists: the Aquarius, Tropicana Laughlin, Edgewater and Golden Nugget Laughlin. Neither course publishes package prices, so ask the hotel for a room-and-golf rate.
Weeknights are much cheaper than weekends in Laughlin. Aggregator data seen in October 2026 put weeknights at about $55 and weekend nights at about $93, before resort fees of roughly $18 to $27 a night at most casino hotels. Playing Sunday to Wednesday saves on both rooms and the Laughlin Ranch weekday rate. Our guides to Laughlin golf packages and where to stay in Laughlin for golf compare the hotels.
Timing and the two clocks
The best months are November (74.1F average high, fresh rye) and March (77.4F). January and February average about 64.5F and 69.2F, with cold mornings and the most rain of the year, about 1 inch a month. Avoid mid-September to mid-October: Mojave Resort was closed for overseed from September 8 to October 8, 2026, and other courses close in turn.
From November 1, 2026 to March 14, 2027, days one and three run on Arizona time and days two and four on Pacific. Set a phone alarm on the course's clock, not the hotel's. The Laughlin time zone guide explains the details.
Evenings and a spare afternoon
Laughlin evenings are easy: the Riverwalk between the casinos, the Riverside's free classic car collection, bowling and a cinema. If you finish early one day, Oatman's Route 66 burros are about 48 minutes from the bridge. See things to do in Laughlin and where to eat in Laughlin for more. Short on time? The Laughlin golf weekend plan fits two rounds into a long weekend.
Plan it on the map

How much does golf cost on a four-day Laughlin trip?
Only Laughlin Ranch published a full rate table: $137 to $169 with cart for non-residents from late November to mid-April on the table seen in October 2026. Mojave Resort says to call for rates, Huukan published none, and Rivers Edge publishes passes but not daily fees, so ask each course when you book.

A Casino Drive hotel keeps every course in this plan within about 40 minutes. The Aquarius, Tropicana, Edgewater and Golden Nugget are listed as hotel partners by both Laughlin Ranch and Mojave Resort, though neither publishes package prices.
Do I need to worry about time zones on a Laughlin golf trip?
Yes, from Nov 1, 2026 to Mar 14, 2027. Laughlin Ranch and Huukan keep Arizona time, one hour ahead of the Laughlin casinos, while Mojave Resort and Rivers Edge keep Pacific time. On the Arizona days, leave an hour earlier by your hotel clock.

Not at Laughlin Ranch, where a cart is mandatory and included in the rate. Rivers Edge allows walking and sells walking passes. Mojave Resort includes a cart in its green fee, per GolfNow.
