One flag per course: The Biloxi buddies golf trip: group tee times, rooms and nights out

A Biloxi buddies golf trip works best Sunday to Thursday, with a casino base that ties into a course, tee times booked as soon as each course's window opens, and shared suites for the cheap nights. Casino rooms that cost $60 to $120 midweek often jump to $200 to $400 on Saturday, so the calendar does most of the budgeting for you.

This guide covers the parts that are different when 4 to 12 golfers travel together: group tee times, rooms, the budget and nights out. Prices were seen in October 2026 and change, so check them before you book.

Quick facts

  • Group size sweet spot: two or three foursomes; bigger groups need early tee-time blocks.
  • Longest booking window: The Oaks, 365 days on its public sheet.
  • Best package for golf volume: Island View's unlimited Windance package from $99 or Hollywood Casino's unlimited Bridges package from $119.
  • Biggest shared room: Gulf Hills Hotel's Love Me Tender Suite sleeps eight ($333 on a November 2026 weekday).
  • Cheapest night: Sunday to Thursday. Saturday is usually the dearest.
  • Must know: Fallen Oak is open only to Beau Rivage guests.

Group tee times: book by each course's window

The coast has no central tee sheet, so the group organizer has to track each course. These are the public booking windows we found in October 2026:

Three practical rules for a group:

  1. Lock the anchor round first. If the group wants The Oaks in spring, book it the day you set the dates. Its waitlist sends text alerts for sold-out times. The Oaks course guide has the tees and rates.
  2. Set reminders for 14-day courses. Windance, Diamondhead and The Bridges open about two weeks out, so book the morning your date appears.
  3. Call for three or more foursomes. Online sheets sell one time at a time. A call to the shop can hold consecutive times. Diamondhead's golf shop opens at 7 AM with first tee times at 7:30 AM.

Our Biloxi tee times guide goes course by course on booking systems.

Rooms for a buddies trip

Golf groups usually want either one casino resort with everyone in the same building, or a suite where four to six people share the cost. The research turned up both.

Casino resorts with golf attached

  • Island View Casino Resort, Gulfport. It owns Windance. The Unlimited Golf package started at $99 for a night in a deluxe room with unlimited golf, cart and range balls at Windance, unlimited buffet trips, a drink and $10 slot play, double occupancy, tax extra. It has 974 rooms and no resort fee. Call 228-314-2100.
  • Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast, Bay St. Louis. The Double Golf Package started at $169 per person for an overnight for two with unlimited golf for two at The Bridges and a $50 food credit (promo DBLGOLF, 228-469-2100). Premier Double rooms have two queens and take up to five guests.
  • Beau Rivage, Biloxi. About 1,700 rooms and suites with group sales for blocks, and the only route to Fallen Oak. Rates were not published for our dates, so ask for the golf package when you request a block.

Rates are the hotels' own or OTA prices for those dates, before or including fees as each hotel shows them; they are typical, not quotes. The Hilton Garden Inn is the odd one out: as an airport hotel, its weekends were cheaper than its weekdays. Our Biloxi golf group hotel guide lists more options.

A sample buddies week

A Sunday-to-Thursday trip with two or three foursomes might run like this:

  • Sunday: fly into GPT, check into Island View, and play a cheap warm-up at Bayou Vista, the Gulfport city course that used to be Tramark ($28 with a cart, about 13 minutes from Island View).
  • Monday: unlimited golf at Windance on the package. Play 18 in the morning and use the package for more holes in the afternoon. The Windance course guide lists the closure dates to avoid.
  • Tuesday: The Oaks in Pass Christian (24 minutes from Island View), booked months ahead, with $59 weekday times from about 2 PM.
  • Wednesday: 36 holes at Diamondhead, 34 minutes away. The $35 same-day replay makes the second 18 cheap; see the Diamondhead Cardinal course guide.
  • Thursday: a morning round at Sunkist and fly home.

If the group wants Fallen Oak, flip the base to Beau Rivage and give Fallen Oak its own day. Our Biloxi golf trip itinerary lays out that version.

The budget

Here is what the main pieces cost per golfer in late 2026, from the records on our map:

  • Green fees: from $28 (Bayou Vista) and $36 (Pass Christian Isles on Sunday) to $109-$115 for Windance, The Bridges, The Oaks and Diamondhead at full price. The Preserve was $175-$250 by season.
  • Twilight: most courses drop $20-$34 from 2 PM. The Oaks falls to $39-$49 from about 4 PM.
  • Rooms: split two or more ways, midweek rooms at $60 to $180 come to roughly $30 to $90 each a night.
  • Packages: the Island View and Hollywood packages fold a room and unlimited golf into one price.

Our Biloxi golf trip cost guide builds three full budgets, and Biloxi golf packages compares every stay-and-play.

Nights out

Casinos are the default, but the research lists plenty more for a group:

  • Hard Rock Biloxi is the lively beach-road casino next to Beau Rivage, good for a buddies group. It does not get you onto Fallen Oak.
  • Group dinners: each big casino has a steakhouse. BR Prime at Beau Rivage and thirty-two at IP are the usual picks. Mary Mahoney's and Half Shell Oyster House are a short walk from Beau Rivage and Hard Rock.
  • Bars: The Reef on Beach Boulevard has an open-air upstairs Sky Bar. Hotel Legends' Sapphire Supper Club has live entertainment Thursday to Saturday. On the west end, the Blind Tiger beach bar and Hinge cocktail lounge are in Bay St. Louis.
  • Off the course: the Biloxi Shrimping Trip runs about 70 minutes on the Sound from next to Hard Rock. Margaritaville Resort Biloxi's public indoor complex has bowling and two golf simulators.

See things to do in Biloxi for more, and if the group wants to compare towns, our Gulf Shores buddies golf trip guide runs the same plan in Alabama.

Timing a buddies trip

Spring (March to May) and fall (October to November) are the golf high seasons. Book around Cruisin' the Coast, the first full week of October, when rooms sell out coast-wide, and the final Mardi Gras parade weekend (Fat Tuesday is February 9, 2027). Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, so check cancellation terms on any prepaid package for an August to October trip.

Plan it on the map

Open the Biloxi golf map to see every course and hotel above with drive times between them, so the group can pick a base that keeps everyone close to the tee. The $30 plan turns it into a day-by-day schedule, with booking dates for each course.

Questions golfers ask

Where should a group stay for a Biloxi buddies golf trip?

For a casino base, Island View in Gulfport and Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis both sell unlimited-golf packages tied to their own courses. For shared rooms, Hotel Legends has two-bedroom, two-bath suites that sleep up to six, from $179 on a weekday in November 2026.
